Summer’s accomplishments can be seen across the span of decades. With each new challenge or injustice, she has stepped up to face the unfairness. While pregnant with her second child, she started her educational journey by receiving a degree in criminal justice to serve the community. A young mother and wife, she was determined to rise above the stereotypes of teen motherhood and give back to society. Summer also works per diem as a New York State Certified Paralegal in family law. She holds a degree in Public Affairs and Policy from the State University of New York. She is the CEO of New York Families for Tomorrow, a nonprofit aimed at family law reform and legal education, and as of 2024, she serves as Town Supervisor of Marion, New York, and sits on the Wayne County Human Services and Health and Medical Committees.
Summer sees the dangers of government overreach in our families, a constitutionalist at heart with a strong understanding of government operations and federal Human Health Services spending resulting in trickle-down social policies that affect our domestic relationships, biased laws, unconstitutional orders, and profiteering off the backs of working-class fathers.
Mrs. Johnson is a published author, notably her policy white paper in Contemporary Family Magazine on Fatherlessness and its effect on outcomes for children in the promotion of shared parenting laws. She hosts a Stepmom blog and several social media accounts. She drafts the organizational policy briefs and all correspondence to sitting committee members in Albany, New York, in favor of shared parenting measures. Summer is known for her honest approach and strong work ethic through research, writing, and content creation. Mrs. Johnson is known within her circle as the “hammer” and, with boldness and respect, will correct false information, oppose bad policy, and fight for common sense reform measures. She is a true believer that the pen is mightier than the sword.

We host networking events and grand opening ceremonies and promote local businesses.
